Annual conference of the Society for Tropical Ornithology (GTO) announcement

The Society for Tropical Ornithology (GTO) will organize the 31st meeting on tropical birds in the Zoological Garden of Münster (Allwetterzoo), Germany, from 9th to 12th September, 2010. The lectures will be held in the building »Zooschule« in the »Allwetterzoo Münster«.

Typical for GTO meetings, a multivarious program will be offered, focusing on breeding and care of tropical birds.

Besides, there will be offered a general guided tour through the Münster Zoological Garden (Allwetterzoo). Employees of various departments will introduce into practice and daily work, preparation of food, technical solutions as well as other fields of several departments of the Allwetterzoo.

Furthermore, there are another excursions scheduled to the the natural history museum »LWL-Museum für Naturkunde« besides the zoological garden and an excursion to the »Rieselfelder Münster« a wetland fashioned by the hand of man nearly Münster.
